Though she worked for years as a secretary and medical transcriptionist, and owned several businesses (her favorite being Adventureland Video), she has always wanted to write and share what she has learned. She loves movies, and her favorite is Enchanted (and she throws Enchanted parties where friends will be served dinner and then watch the movie, wearing lots of jewelry and dollar-store feather boas).
Heather has kind of a split personality--she has always read diversely and writes the same way. Since her books are so different, and since the readers of one type of book may not care for the other types of books she writes, she has added middle initials to make it easy to spot which type of book to expect. Perhaps it would help to share the slogans of each with you (and, of course, the M. stands for Murder & Mayhem and the L. for Love & Laughter).

Enlighten your life with the inspirational books of Heather Horrocks.
She meets monthly with her conspiracy group (you know, two or more people plotting together) and they plot an entire book in a day (they’ve done thirty so far).
Heather strives to write entertaining tales that usually have a variation on the message of forgiveness. Especially in Women and Men Who Knew The Mortal Messiah, she shares stories of Jesus and the healing power of His Atonement. She is now beginning work on stories of women from the Old Testament.
When she’s not writing, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her church, playing the piano, and watching good movies and reading good books--through which she can travel again to exotic locales or even through time to other incredible eras.
Heather lives in Utah with her hunky husband Mark and their two youngest sons.
Heather loves to hear from readers. So, whether you prefer romantic comedies, cozy mysteries, or inspirational stories, she invites you to email her at BooksByHeather@q.com.
